Tracy Oliver, a writer and producer, has announced that part two of the American hit movie Girls Trip will be shot in Ghana.
The original film “Girls Trip,” which starred Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish, will reunite the full cast in Ghana for the second iteration of the movie.

Oliver, who was the co-writer of the original 2017 romp, joined the Variety Studio presented by Audible at Sundance and said, “We’re looking to set it in Ghana.”
Oliver has also confirmed that the ladies of Girls Trip will start attending the popular Afrochella (Afro Future) festival, which takes place in Ghana annually and attracts prominent musical acts from the region.

The production date is not yet known.
Girls Trip was directed by Malcolm D. Lee, produced by Will Packer, and co-written by Kenya Barris and Oliver Stone.
